Week 6 DFS Cheatsheet – DraftKings $200k Contest

We have done the DFS homework for you, and here are is our breakdown for Saturday’s slate of games in college football. This is our preview for the DraftKings $200K Saturday Kickoff contest. A $15 entry gets you in the contest which pays out $50,000 to 1st place. We are using DraftKings numbers, so you have $50,000 to pick 8 players ($6,250 AVG).

Games

  • Missouri vs Florida
  • Tennessee vs LSU
  • Arkansas vs Mississippi State
  • TCU vs Kansas
  • Texas vs Oklahoma
  • Michigan vs Indiana
  • Purdue vs Maryland
  • Auburn vs Georgia
  • Utah vs UCLA
  • Texas Tech vs Oklahoma State
  • Wisconsin vs Northwestern
  • Ole Miss vs Vanderbilt
  • Washington vs Arizona State
  • Ohio State vs Michigan State

Quarterbacks

Top Plays

  • CJ Stroud (Ohio St) $9,200
  • Michael Penix Jr (Washington) $8,500
  • Stetson Bennett (Georgia) $8,400
  • Hendon Hooker (Tennessee) $8,100
  • Spencer Sanders (Oklahoma St) $8,000

$9,200 isn’t a bad price for Stroud. Ohio State will win and make a big statement, and the Spartans pass defense is really bad. All of these players are good plays, but Stroud is my favorite.

Best Value Plays

  • Cam Rising (Utah) $7,900
  • Will Rogers (Mississippi St) $7,700
  • Jaxson Dart (Ole Miss) $7,500
  • Max Duggan (TCU) $7,200
  • Donovan Smith (Texas Tech) $7,000
  • Jalon Daniels (Kansas) $6,900
  • Anthony Richardson (Florida) $6,800

There’s a ton of value this week at QB. Cam Rising and Donovan Smith will be low owned, contrarian plays. Dart, Duggan, and Daniels will be highly owned, but all have potential for big games. I really love Anthony Richardson at $6,800. He will have a big game vs Missouri.

Longshot Plays

  • Quinn Ewers (Texas) $6,500
  • J.J. McCarthy (Michigan) $6,400
  • Aidan O’Connell (Purdue) $6,000
  • Ryan Hilinski (Northwestern) $4,900

If Ewers plays, he’s going to be a huge steal at 6,500. The Sooners defense is quite bad. McCarthy is going to have a big breakout game soon and this is a good opportunity vs Indiana. I’m not playing Hilinski, but at $4,900 he’s definitely a longshot sleeper.

Top Plays

  • Bijan Robinson (Texas) $9,000
  • Braelon Allen (Wisconsin) $8,500
  • TreVeyon Henderson (Ohio St) $8,200

Bijan is costly but has a fantastic match-up against a hated rival. Allen will be very low owned after his pathetic 0.2 point performance last week, but I expect a big bounce back.

Best Value Plays

  • Blake Corum (Michigan) $7,900
  • Miyan Williams (Ohio St) $7,300
  • Wayne Taulapapa (Washington) $6,500
  • Quinshon Judkins (Ole Miss) $6,400
  • Raheim Sanders (Arkansas) $6,200
  • Kendre Miller (TCU) $6,000

There’s a ton of great plays in this range. Corum is always a great play. He’s averaging 26.6 PPG. If Henderson doesn’t play again this week, Miyan Williams will be in line for another big game. So check that injury report. Taulapapa is a favorite play of mine. The casuals don’t really know the name, and he’s averaging 16 PPG. Quinshon Judkins is a player I’ve noticed the last few weeks. He’s a big play threat and has a great match-up vs Vanderbilt. Sanders and Miller have great prices and both are averaging over 20 PPG.

Longshot Plays

  • Dylan Downing (Purdue) $5,000
  • Donovan Edwards (Michigan) $4,600

Downing has stepped up for the Boilermakers, and he will get some volume. Edwards continues to make a big impact for the Wolverines coming back from injury, and $4,600 is a good price for someone capable of big plays.

Receivers

Top Plays

  • Jaxon SmithNjigba (Ohio St) $7,500
  • Marvin Harrison (Ohio St) $7,400

There really wasn’t one top play that stood out to me this week. I don’t want to overpay for an under performing Marvin Mims. So I like the Buckeyes receivers vs a bad Michigan State pass defense. If Smith-Njigba plays, you’re getting a massive steal at 7.5K

Best Value Plays

  • Rome Odunze (Washington) $7,200
  • Brock Bowers (Georgia) $7,100
  • Charlie Jones (Purdue) $7,000
  • Cedric Tillman (Tennessee) $6,900
  • Quentin Johnston (TCU) $6,800
  • Emeka Egbuka (Ohio St) $6,700
  • Xavier Worthy (Texas) $6,300
  • Ronnie Bell (Michigan) $5,900
  • Kayshon Boutte (LSU) $4,800

How far has Kayshon Boutte fallen this season? Never thought he would be 4.8K, but here we are. He has the talent, if he’s motivated to perform. 6.3K is an outstanding price for Worthy, and he has a good match-up. Rome Odunze has been outstanding all season, averaging 24.3 PPG.

Longshot Plays

  • Ja’Lynn Polk (Washington) $4,500
  • Dalton Kincaid (Utah) $4,400
  • Brian Thomas Jr (LSU) $3,900
  • Michael Trigg (Ole Miss) $3,500
  • Ja’Tavion Sanders (Texas) $3,500

Polk won me a lot of money a few weeks ago, and he’s a player with big boom potential. Thomas Jr will need to step up big vs Tennessee and 3.9K is an excellent value price.
