Urban Meyer and THE Ohio State University landed the second ranked strong side defensive end in the country, as four-star Brenton Cox committed to the Buckeyes.

Cox is a power rusher that can get after the quarterback, but also has the speed, athleticism, and agility to chase down backs out of the backfield. He will be a force on the Buckeye defensive line. Combine that with the fact that the Buckeyes are now in the mix for recently decommitted five-star defensive end Micah Parsons, and there is a chance that Ohio State could come out with the best defensive line in the entire 2018 recruiting class.
Cox, who is out of Stockbridge, GA, had see-sawed back and forth between Ohio State and his home state Georgia Bulldogs. However, in the end the Buckeyes were a better fit for him. That is going to make for some sleepless nights for Big Ten offensive lines and backfields.
