Oklahoma received great news on Tuesday as Tavion Thomas announced his commitment via twitter. Thomas is a huge big bruising running back out of the state of Ohio, but he also has enough speed to get to the outside. When he does, he is off to the races. Standing at 6’2″ and 225 pounds, the UA All-American has a college ready body that will only get stronger in Oklahoma’s strength and conditioning program.
I will like to say that I am verbally committed to Oklahoma university 🙌🏾☑️‼️‼️‼️‼️‼️‼️🤘🏽🤘🏽🤘🏽🤘🏽🤘🏽🤘🏽🤘🏽🤘🏽 @LincolnRiley pic.twitter.com/6hyp1CvWAk

Tavion Thomas has just scratched the surface of his potential, as it is quite obvious that his best days of football are ahead of him. We expect great things from him in the coming years and see him being the next great All-American running back for the Sooners. You can’t teach his combination of size, speed, heart, and athleticism, and a player like this will certainly excel in a Lincoln Riley offense. Thomas has the ability to run around you or through you, and will have the Big 12 defenses shaking in their boots. tOSU definitely missed out on this kid in their own backyard.
