Alan Tisdale announced that he will be making his commitment on July 1st. The five finalists that are still in the running for his services are Louisville, Notre Dame, NC State, Ole Miss, and Va Tech. Tisdale is one of the best outside linebackers in the state of North Carolina, but could end up at various positions. He certainly has the athleticism to play in the secondary, but with his frame it is hard seeing him anywhere but outside linebacker.

While all the schools seem to have a shot at landing this recruiting gem, it seems that the Hokies have taken a commanding lead for his services. We fully expect for Tisdale to put on a VT hat on July 1st, as this is the year of the Hokies turning North Carolina into a pypeline, as head coach Justin Fuente rolled out his #NC2VT campaign. Virginia Tech already has 4 star WR Tre Turner and 3 star cornerback DJ Crossen, who are also out of Tisdale’s hometown of Greensboro, NC. We’re sure Turner and Crossen have both pitched the idea of all three of them playing together in college and keeping the #NC2VT train rolling.
