5-star DB Kelee Ringo is a lockdown corner and one of the best in the country

Kelee Ringo – 5 Star DB

Kelee Ringo is one of the most intriguing prospects left unsigned. At one point, Georgia seemed like a lock. Now, it’s a coin flip between Oregon and Georgia with Texas out.

There is plenty of uncertainty around Ringo. Nothing is concrete on whether he actually signed. If he signed already, there may be some clues as to where he’s going. Kelee was seen on signing day donning an Oregon shirt. He did have a teammate commit to Oregon. However, he also had teammates commit to other big name programs as well. Why wear the shirt of the one who is one of your top schools? Kelee Ringo is an instant game changer or rotational piece from day one to even some of the better defenses in the country. Statistically, Georgia and Oregon boast some of the best defenses in the nation. Even with that, Ringo would see playing time immediately.

Darnell Washington –  5-Star ATH

Darnell is ready to go from the jump. He has the size and skill to play from day one. Washington has seemed a Georgia favorite for quite sometime. However, Alabama and Oregon seem to have small chances to land him after getting into the race late. Additionally, I do see Tennessee being a decent threat to Georgia as well. No matter where he goes, he will be a consensus All-Freshman team member by the end of the year. Darnell is a massive, yet quick tight end who could be impact-full blocking or as a vertical threat.

Dontae Manning – 4-Star DB

Dontae Manning was another presumed Georgia favorite. It seems that Kirby Smart and Mario Cristobal are battling for talent. Dontae is much more than the compensation for missing out Ringo. Firstly, he’s the second best player out of the state of Missouri. Also, he’s a twitchy defender with natural instincts. Additionally, with some development, he could become one of the best DB prospects for the NFL draft.

Avantae Williams – 4-Star S

Avantae Williams was one of Oregon’s longest tenured commits and one of their best at the time of his decommitment. However, he likely wanted to stay closer to home to remain close his two children. While Williams is a very good zone safety, he also has no issue taking on man coverage as well. Avantae will likely stay in state to play ball. Whether or not he heads to Miami or Florida, it’ll make no difference. Expect to see him play on Sundays in three years.

4-star DB Dontae Manning will call Oregon home

  • Dontae Manning – DB – Oregon Dontae will join Kelee Ringo in Oregon, making the expectations for this secondary in the coming years astronomical.
