Mississippi State has picked up their 19th commitment in the 2018 class as running back, Fabian Franklin, announced that he will be staying home. Fabian is a solid kid at 6’0″ and 200 pounds and will be the future workhorse of the Bulldogs. Franklin had some big time offers from the likes of Alabama, UGA, Michigan, and Tennessee, proving even more why this is a big time scoop for head coach Dan Mullen. Pair him with QB Jalen Mayden and WR Malik Heath, who are already committed to MSU, and the future looks even brighter for the Bulldog offense.

Franklin does a great job of not only breaking arm tackles but evading would-be tackles as well. He keeps his legs moving and can move the pile forward while fighting for extra yards. Even SEC defenses will have a problem bringing this bruiser to the ground. He has great vision for a kid his age and will be great in short yardage situations. Watch out if this kid puts on even more muscle when he steps on campus. We expect to see him reach the end zone many times in a Bulldog uniform. Let’s see if the SEC can try and stop this savage.
