Kentucky adds 2019 LB KD McDaniel to Commitment List

After taking a visit to Lexington, Kentucky this past weekend, KD McDaniel decided that he wanted to make it official. The talented linebacker from the Peach State announced via twitter that he is committing to the Wildcats, making this an even stronger start for UK in the 2019 class. The 3-star linebacker joins 4-star S Keontra Smith as the two commitments of this class. Although Kentucky boasts commitments from only two recruits so far, what they lack in quantity they make up for in quantity.

Standing at 6’2″ and 225 pounds, McDaniels already has the size to step on the field and contribute immediately. Once he is placed in a college strength and conditioning program, he will become even more of a beast. With added weight, he might even be able to play down with his hands in the dirt as well. McDaniels has recently received offers from schools such as South Carolina, UCF, USF, in addition to Kentucky. This is only the beginning for him. The Wildcats’ coaching staff is smart to try to get a commitment from this kid early, because the offers will continue to pour in.
