Jackets Nesting Report: Players Schedule Official Visit

Ten different players have announced that they will be visiting Georgia Tech for an official visit set from June 11-13. Of those 10 players, six are 4-stars, three are 3-stars and one has not been ranked by either 247Sports or Rivals.

FOUR STARS

Antonio Martin (GT Commit)

4-star running back from Georgia decided to stay in-state and commit to GT over Alabama, Florida, Arkansas, Duke, and others.

Jaden Mangham (not committed)

4-star athlete from Missouri has 35 total offers with Michigan State, Michigan, Notre Dame and Georgia Tech standing out from the rest of the list. 247Sports currently has a crystal ball prediction of Mangham signing with Sparty.

Jaron Willis (not committed)

4-star LB from Georgia also announced his official visit. However, to be clear, Willis also announced via Twitter his Top 6 schools which were Georgia Tech, Kentucky, Ole Miss, Florida, Arkansas and Florida State. He does have official visits scheduled with Arkansas (June 4) and Florida (June 25).

Denylon Morrissette (not committed)

4-star wide receiver from Georgia may decide to stay in-state when it comes to selecting his college decision. Megatron 2.0 has offers from Alabama, Florida, Michigan, Georgia and Georgia Tech, just to name a few. He does have other OV set with schools.

Janiran Booner and Mumu Bin-Wahad

Janiran Bonner will visit between June 18-20 and Mumu Bin-Wahad will visit between June 11-13, they announced via their Twitter.

Both are from Georgia and hold several offers. Bonner holds 19 official offers from schools while Bin-Wahad holds 25-plus offers.

THREE STARS

Drew Bobo (not committed)

3-star offensive lineman from South Carolina got an official offer from Georgia Tech on January 29 and set his official visit for June 11. Bobo does have offers from Oregon, Coastal Carolina, Auburn, Kentucky, Maryland among others. Maybe Auburn has the pull here, as his father played for the Tigers.

Joseph Adedire (not committed)

3-star defensive tackle from Texas received an offer from Georgia Tech back on January 28. He currently holds 14 other offers. His only other scheduled visit is with Michigan in June 18.

Marcus Allen (not committed)

3-star corner from in-state Georgia has drawn interest from over 30 schools with only one receiving and official visit — Georgia Tech. Allen is one of the players to keep an eye on. Personally believe if he signs with Tech, he can instantly make an impact wherever is needed on the secondary.

Lone Wolf

The “Lone Wolf” category ranking by Talkin’ Jackets is a player who’s been recruited, but has yet to receive any stars from 247Sports and/or Rivals. In this case, it would be Derrick “DJ” Moore.

Watch his tape. It’s unreal. He gets off of the line quickly and uses his bottom half to create the leverage needed to get past the defenders to create an easy open target for his quarterback.

Moore currently sits with three offers, thus giving him another status of the Lone Wolf. Meaning, if he signs with Tech, he could instantly make an impact within the receiving group. The Georgia native holds other offers from Maryland and Air Force.
