Four Star Guard K.J. Simpson Commits to Arizona

Sean Miller lands his next starting point guard. Four star guard K.J. Simpson has committed to Arizona. He chose the Wildcats over USC, California, LMU, and Colorado. Simpson is a member of the 2021 recruiting class. This is the Wildcat’s first commitment for its 2021 recruiting class.

K.J. Simpson is a guard from West Hills, California. He is a solid athlete for his size. He has really good vision and he can play either on the ball or off the ball in college. His recruitment has been fairly quiet. Most of the schools recruiting him were all on the west coast. A source told me that Arizona and USC were the two teams to watch for in his recruitment. He announced his final schools were Arizona, USC, California, LMU, and Colorado were his final schools. The day before his commitment, I was told the Wildcats were the team to beat. Today he it official and committed to Arizona.

This is a very good start to Arizona’s recruiting class. Simpson is the first commitment for Sean Miller and Arizona’s 2021 class. Simpson will be the future point guard for Arizona. They are still recruiting stars like Paolo Banchero, Caleb Houston, Ben Gregg, and many others. I expect Arizona to add at least one to two more players to this recruiting class. A transfer could a possibility as well. Sean Miller has recruited really well and won a lot at Arizona. Arizona will be the top team in the PAC-12 this season and for years to come.
