At this point it seems the University of Miami is going to have their recruiting class wrapped up before the summer even starts. Just one day after Miami received their 17th commitment in Tight End Will Mallory, Mark Richt and the Hurricanes reel in their 18th commitment of the 2018 class in Gregory Rousseau. Rousseau is a long Defensive End/Linebacker out of Florida that will need some time in a college strength and conditioning program, but has a copious amount of potential.
Many view Rousseau as a Defensive End at the next level, but the Hurricanes are recruiting him as a defensive “athlete” as they envision him taking on multiple roles in their defensive scheme. Mark Richt will look to finish this class strong as they already have the #1 recruiting class and a few more more top commitments will help them finish that way.
