When it comes to football recruiting, no one has been hotter than Mario Cristobal and the Oregon Ducks. And that doesn’t seem like it’s going to change anytime soon. Four-star RB Sean Dollars has announced that he will be a Duck. Dollars is the 8th commitment in the 2019 class since the beginning of April and the 9th overall. Oregon also received a commitment from Top 50 prospect and #6 CB Jeremiah Criddell, too. Needless to say, expectations are rising in Eugune, as Coach Cristobal is making this the new recruiting standard. According to the 247 composite, Dollars is listed as the #1 APB and the #131 player in the nation.

Duck fans have to be absolutely ecstatic right now as they now have the #13 recruiting class in the nation and the #1 in the Pac-12. Sean Dollars might be one of the most impressive prospects in the potent class as well. First off his last name is both literally and figuratively money. Also, he might be one of the most athletic kids in this entire class. He runs through arm tackles with ease, and runs by defenders with even greater ease. This kid is a home run threat every time he touches the ball.
Mike’s Take
I was fortunate enough to watch Dollars in person at The Opening and he did not disappoint. Dollars was being matched up against the likes of DeGabriel Floyd, Jonathan Perkins, and some other top notch linebackers, and he was more than holding his own. He was frequently able to get the better of the opposing linebacker, especially in passing situations. Dollars proved that he might be the best pass catching RB in the nation that weekend in Costa Mesa. Although Sean is thought of as a scat back, he also impressed during the blocking portion of The Opening.
Sean is going to be very fun to watch in the Oregon offense, and I believe will end up being a household name by the end of his college career. I think he will have historic numbers in the passing game, and will end up with some of the most receiving yards of any Oregon back in history. Remember the name because this kid is going to be something special.
