Top 5 tight end in the nation Jude Wolfe announced his top 8 schools via twitter. The schools that made the cut were USC, OSU, Washington, Michigan, Notre Dame, UCLA, Alabama, and Oregon. At this point in his recruitment it is hard to tell if Jude leans towards any of these school. One thing for sure is that he is definitely a big priority for all 8 programs. Wolfe has the kind of skills that could be game changing to an offense. Opposing defensive coordinators will have to create game plans that focus on him.
Here is my top 8 as of now. Huge thank you to all the coaches who have recruited me. pic.twitter.com/s5llHzHdma

The talented tight end is enormous for his age and towers over his competition at 6’6″ and about 240 pounds. The St. John Bosco (CA) product has the athleticism to match that incredible size as well. We were able to attend The Opening regionals in Los Angeles and Wolfe was absolutely dominant. Wolfe was able to go toe to toe with any defensive back/linebacker that was put in his path. There was not one defender that was able to stop him from getting open, even though many tried. His ball skills were also very impressive. The California native rarely dropped a ball thrown his way. He also made some very difficult catches that most wide receivers wouldn’t even be able to haul in. Also, with his size it comes as no surprise that he is a very efficient blocker as well.
Our Prediction
As we said before it is too early in this recruitment to pick a favorite. But, there are 2 schools that stand out in particular. If Jude elects to stay closer to home, it seems like USC will be the clear choice. He has spoken very highly of the Trojans ever since he received an offer from them. Notre dame has also had a very good track record when it comes to recruiting top notch tight ends. Jude visited South Bend for their Junior Day back in January and we believe it may have put them on top. If we had to make a prediction today, we would put our money on the Fighting Irish.
