There are only 75 days left until the return of college football. Today we celebrate by remembering the first play from scrimmage in the 2018 ACC Championship game. Clemson RB, Travis Etienne, took the hand off from Trevor Lawrence and took it 75 yards to the house.
This play helped Clemson cruise to a 42-10 victory over the Pitt Panthers. This was just the start of the post-season dominance from the Clemson Tigers. Etienne finished the game with 156 yards and 2 touchdowns on just 12 carries. Talk about efficiency! Also, both of his touchdowns came in the first quarter. So he got the job done early. As a result, Clemson won the ACC and easily got a bid into the College Football Playoff. Trevor Lawrence may get all the media attention, but we wanted to give his workhorse some love as well!
