There are only 31 days until the start of the college football season. To celebrate, we remember this crazy 31 yard touchdown from former Georgia TE, Isaac Nauta. Nauta starts the play out by dropping back as an additional pass blocker. Unfortunately the Tennessee defender is able to immediately blow right by him and cause a fumble. However, Nauta had his head on a swivel. He scooped the ball right up, ran by some defenders, and broke a tackle on his way to pay dirt.
This touchdown happened to be the first touchdown of the game. Just like they drew it up! Although UGA went on to win in convincing fashion, 38-12, if the Volunteers had come up with the ball who knows what may have happened with the shift in momentum.
