The class of 2020 has a number of uncommitted players. While the early signing period is not until November, a lot of players like to commit earlier so they can get the recruiting process over. Then they can focus on their high school seasons. There are a number of guys already committed, but who else is going to commit soon? Where do they land? Let’s find out.

1. Cade Cunningham

Cunningham’s recruitment seemed to be very open before the summer started. However, things quickly changed when Oklahoma State hired Cade’s brother, Cannen, as an assistant coach. Then rumors began flying that North Carolina is actually the leader in his recruitment. While I do expect North Carolina to be a contender, Cade will more than likely be a Cowboy when it is time to commit. Cunningham is down to a final five of Oklahoma State, North Carolina, Kentucky, Washington, and Florida.

2. Jalen Green

Green’s recruitment has always been seen as a Memphis vs. Kentucky battle. That all changed when Green cut Kentucky from his list after Terrence Clarke committed to the Wildcats. He is coming off an official visit to Oregon, and the Ducks are a serious threat to land Green. Memphis has always been seen as the leader, but I would not count out Oregon at all. Green will also visit Memphis and Auburn, and he has already visited Oregon and USC.

3. Ziaire Williams

Williams’ recruitment has been very quiet. He is down to a final seven of Duke, Stanford, Arizona, North Carolina, Oregon, UCLA, and USC. He visited USC in August and he will take an official visit to North Carolina on September 27th. Stanford and North Carolina are “the favorites,” but I would keep an eye on Oregon and USC chances as well. I’m going to say that Williams will stay on the west coast and attend Stanford.

4. Makur Maker

Maker’s recruitment has been relatively quiet. There is a lot of buzz that he will play skip college and play overseas. He will take a visit to Howard in a few weeks, and Kentucky or Oregon should be teams to watch out for. However, expect Maker to play overseas.

5. Greg Brown

Brown has always been seen as a Texas lean. He lives very close to the campus and recently visited the Longhorns. He is down to a final five of Texas, Memphis, Kentucky, Auburn, and North Carolina. Keep an eye on Memphis here, as well. He has ties to the program and he speaks very highly of assistant Mike Miller. But Texas is the team to beat here.

6. Scottie Barnes

Barnes is down to a final eight of Oregon, California, Duke, Florida State, Kansas, Kentucky, Miami, and Ohio State. Oregon, Florida State, and Ohio State have the best odds here to land Barnes. The Ducks will get it done and land him.

7. Jalen Suggs

Suggs does not have a final list of schools, but schools like Gonzaga, Minnesota, and Iowa are teams to look out for. Keep in mind that Suggs is also a 4-star quarterback and could play both basketball and football in college. Expect Suggs to play college basketball at Gonzaga.

8. Joshua Christopher

Down to a final five of Kentucky, Arizona State, Missouri, UCLA, and Michigan, Josh Christopher is one of the most exciting players 2020 class. Kentucky was long seen as the leader, until multiple reports came out saying that two have “parted ways”. With that being said, expect Christopher to follow his brother, Caleb Christopher, Arizona State.

5-star F Isaiah Todd could be a Tar Heel or could play overseas

9. Isaiah Todd

Todd’s recruitment has been a little wild. Kentucky has always been seen as favorite until he visited North Carolina three times in the past month. Besides North Carolina and Kentucky, Memphis has gotten some buzz. And there has been so much playing overseas buzz that I would keep in mind, too. Overseas or North Carolina seems like the most likely options at this time.

10. Jaden Springer

Springer is down to a final three of Tennessee, Memphis, and Michigan. Expect Tennessee to be the choice, as he is on a official visit to the school.
