Head Coach Clay Helton and the USC Trojans received some great news with the commitment of 2019 QB JT Daniels. Daniels is not only the top QB for 2019 but he is also a top 5 overall player in the class as well. USC has started off white hot for next years class as their other commit is superstar De’Gabriel Floyd who is also a potential 5 star kid. Both are top 5 kids in the state of California and USC will try to continue to build a wall around the state.

Although Daniels is listed as a Pro-Style QB he can move very well within the pocket and get away from pressure when it is needed. But, if he is given the time to pass and go through his progressions, he is one of the most accurate kids in the nation regardless of class. He can make any throw that is asked of him, whether it be a cross-field throw or a bomb down the field. This alleviates the pressure for USC to take a QB in the 2018 class even with the loss of Matt Corral, but we do expect them to still take a filler. We can’t wait to see Daniels, the kid with a rocket for an arm, sporting a Trojan uniform.
