Indy Linebacker Cam McGrone Commits to Michigan

Michigan picked up one of the best outside linebackers in the nation with the announcement of Cam McGrone’s commitment to the Wolverines. Cam is an absolute beast on the field and his competitiveness shows, as he has risen to a top 100 spot in the 2018 class. His showing at The Opening definitely played a part in that. McGrone is one of the most sure tacklers in the nation and is just as competitive as anyone around. That along with his athleticism and size makes him a very dangerous opponent for B1G offenses.

McGrone can really move for a kid that is 6’1″ and 220 pounds and boasts a 4.6 speed, which is incredible for a linebacker his age. Speed seems to be the name of the game for the linebacker corp of the Wolverines as one of their current commits, Otis Reese, also runs a 4.6 and is another top outside linebacker in the 2018 class. With these two kids on the field at the same time we expect to see that Wolverine helmet flying around and swarming to the ball. Jim Harbaugh certainly has a knack for creating some great defenses and the Michigan faithful can expect that to continue once McGrone steps on campus.
