Big 12 Conference
The Big 12 has 6 teams in my preseason top 40. Oklahoma and Texas are the favorites, but Iowa St and TCU are the main dark horses. It will be interesting to see if the Big 12 can put the “no defense” narrative to rest this season.

Every game on this list has a great deal of importance and with a 9-game schedule each team plays the other 9 in the conference. Whoever wins 2 of their 3 on the list, then they will be in great shape to make the conference title. The 3 game stretch that Baylor plays (above) will also be important to the Big 12 race. If the Bears can win any of those, it could create a big shakeup in the conference.
Big 12 Title Game
Oklahoma is a popular pick among everyone, but I am going out on a limb with the TCU pick. Ultimately, I have the Sooners winning the the Big 12 Championship again. But Texas and Iowa State will make a push to face the Sooners instead of the Horned Frogs.
