Nick Saban and the Crimson Tide picked up one of the nation’s best defensive ends in the 2018 class with the commitment of Cameron Latu. The Salt Lake City product is a freak athlete and can really move for a kid that plays on the defensive line. He has the frame to add some weight once he steps on campus, and will most likely be able to keep his speed once the weight is added.

It has been an abnormally slow start for Alabama in the 2018 class, but the things are starting to look up for the Tide, as 7 of their 9 commitments have come in the last two months. With all 7 of these kids being blue chip prospects, we would expect nothing less from head coach Nick Saban. The commitment of Latu only adds to that momentum, and we expect for Bama to end with a top 10 class, as they are one of the best in the nation in poaching commitments from other schools. Tide fans will love watching Latu come off the edge over the next few years, and we foresee many strip-sacks for this kid in that famous Bama uniform.
