Head coach Lincoln Riley and the Oklahoma coaching staff have started off on a hot streak for the 2019 recruiting class, as they just received their fourth commitment in four star WR Trejan Bridges. All four of their commitments are four star recruits, and it seems their offense won’t miss a beat once Baker Mayfield and company leave Sooner nation. Three of their 2019 commitments are offensive skill players, and possibly all four if athlete Jeffrey Carter ends up playing on the offensive side of the ball. The Sooners also have #1 DUAL QB Spencer Rattle, #1 TE Austin Stogner, and now the talented Trejan Bridges. These recruits will have a field day in Lincoln Riley’s offense which is known for getting the ball into the hands of its playmakers, often through the air.

Bridges has elite lateral movement for a receiver his size and has a knack for turning short passes into big gains on the field. He can also beat defenders down the field making him a great option when going for a deep bomb, with the hands to come down with jump balls as well. Bridges visited Oklahoma during the season’s opening kickoff against UTEP and that must have sealed the deal for this young man. We can’t wait to see what this offense has in store for the next few seasons as it seems they are only going to get better and better. It will definitely be hard to not mention Oklahoma’s name when speaking about not only Big 12 contenders, but national championship contenders for the foreseeable future.
