After much thought and consideration it seems that Ta’Zhawn Henry may have finally come to his final college decision. We wrote an article about Henry’s original commitment to TCU back in August, but the sleeper RB’s name only stayed on the Horned Frogs’ commitment list until December 10th, just a month after his visit to Fort Worth. Shortly after Henry’s decommitment he received additional offers from Texas Tech, Nebraska, Colorado State, among others. Taz can end up being a real stud where ever he ends up as he has the vision, balance, and speed that being an every down back demands.
It seemed that the decision had come down to Nebraska, Texas Tech, and Oregon State as Henry had scheduled an official visit to each campus after he broke off his commitment to TCU. The speedy running back visited Oregon State on the weekend of the January 18 and he spent the following weekend at Texas Tech (January 26). This was all that Henry needed to see. He fell in love with one of those two campus’ as he tweeted that he would no longer be taking his visit to Nebraska.
After discussing everything with my family, I have decided not to take my last official visit that was scheduled this weekend to Nebraska. I do want to thank Coach Frost and his entire staff for thinking enough of me to give me the opportunity to be apart of their program. #GBR🌽

Ta’Zhawn will be making his “final” decision on his little brother’s birthday on Saturday, February 3rd. His decision will come between Oregon State and Texas Tech who will both be hoping that this one falls their way. Â The fact that Henry decided to cancel his trip to Cornerhusker country directly after his trip to Texas Tech speaks volumes in our opinion. It is also important to mention that since Henry originally committed to TCU, this might be a sign that distance might be a factor in this decision as well. While the Beavers’ still have a fighting chance we believe this one falls in favor of the Red Raiders.
