TCU picked up Texas RB, Ta’Zhawn Henry, over the likes of Oregon State, Texas A&M, Houston, Iowa State, and Oklahoma State. Henry is a speedster and will be a great compliment to TCU’s QB commit in the 2018 class, Justin Rogers, one of the top rated recruits in the nation. We expect for him to catch a lot of balls out of the backfield and could eventually be one of the top pass-catching running backs in the nation.

When Henry announced his top 6 we predicted that the opportunity to play with the current TCU recruiting class might be too much to pass up, and we were right. TCU’s recruiting has really picked up since the 2015 class, and we expect that to continue with some added success on the field. Before the 2016 class the Horned frogs rarely had a top 30 class but since that year they usually fall somewhere around #20. With the addition of Ta’Zhawn Henry, this success has continued for the Horned Frogs, and we expect them to finally crack a top 20 class nationally this year.
