Just two days after picking up a commitment from one of the best OLB in the 2018 class, Shayne Simon, Notre dame lands one of the best ILB in the nation, Jack Lamb. The Fighting Irish are putting together quite the linebacker class with the addition of these two four-star prospects, as they already have Ovie Oghuofo out of Michigan and Matthew Bauer, one of the top prospects out of Pennsylvania. Jack Lamb is an absolute beast on the football field, and with his addition, it gives Notre Dame arguably the best linebacker class in the nation.

Lamb is one of the top prospects out of the state of California, and he looks like he can step on a collegiate football field right now. He is 6’4″ and already 220 pounds of pure muscle. Lamb has a nose for the football and is one of the most sure tacklers in the nation. It will be tough for opposing running backs to get past this kid. Notre Dame is set up to have one of the best defenses in the nation with their 2018 class. Head Coach Brian Kelly and the rest of the coaching staff have to be stoked about this commitment. Irish fans will love seeing this kid as a Golden Domer.
