Top 10 for Ronnie Walker

Early on Monday morning four star running back Ronnie Walker posted a tweet with his top 10 schools. The list consisted of: Duke, Indiana, Michigan State, Northwestern, UNC, Purdue, Rutgers, Virginia, Virginia Tech, and NC State. Walker is a top 5 player in the state of Virginia in 2018 and has great patience and vision allowing him to take it to the house anytime he touches the ball.

The speedy back has to improve his blocking in order to be a dynamic player at the next level, but that will certainly come when he adds a little bit of weight in a college strength and conditioning program. Ronnie may not be a top 100 guy in this class yet, but he is certainly on our watch list for this years class.

We expect him to end up in the state of North Carolina, either with the Tar Heels or the Wolf Pack. NC State has done a great job at recruiting the running back position over the past couple of years and will need to fill some holes after Nyheim Hines and Reggie Gallaspy (both juniors) leave. The Tar Heels are still looking for another back to run alongside freshman Michael Carter and power back Antwuan Branch for the next couple of years.
