Gonzaga/Ohio State Tournament Preview

Gonzaga forward Killian Tillie (33) and fellow Zags celebrate Gonzaga's 79-73 victory over Northwestern during a second round NCAA college basketball tournament game, Sat., March 18, 2017, in Salt Lake City. Colin Mulvany/THE SPOKESMAN-REVIEW

Line: Gonzaga -3.5

These two teams met back in November and Gonzaga destroyed the Buckeyes by 27 points. We think it is safe to say that that result will not repeat this time around. Gonzaga needed some clutch shooting and a little luck in the final minute to get out of the first round. Ohio State was led by Keita Bates-Diop’s 24 points and 12 boards vs South Dakota St. It is no secret what Gonzaga’s gameplay is going to be, stop Bates-Diop. Gonzaga does just that and advances to the Sweet 16 with a 6 point win.
