Quarterbacks
Top Plays
Trevor Lawrence $8,800
Lawrence is the highest priced QB this week, averaging 30.2 FPPG this season. His match-up isn’t the greatest, but compared to the rest of the slate, it’s pretty good.
Mac Jones $8,700
Jones is averaging 27.2 FPPG this season and his match-up is pretty good. Trevor Lawrence had 37.9 fantasy points vs the Irish. Mac should have 25+.
Best Value
Justin Fields $8,000
Fields will most likely have star receiver Chris Olave back, and they’ll need to throw to win this one.
JT Daniels $7,300
Daniels doesn’t have the greatest match-up, but he has a ton of talent around him and his price isn’t bad.
Ian Book $6,700
If you’re looking for a cheaper option at QB who could be forced to throw a lot, then Book is that guy.
Bo Nix $6,000
Nix’s match-up isn’t good, but his price is dirt cheap. If you want to save money at QB, then Nix isn’t a terrible play.
Peyton Ramsey $5,400
Ramsey is extremely cheap. If you want to load up at RB or WR, then he’s a good play.
Running Backs
Top Play
Najee Harris $9,200
Harris is a good play every week. He always gets you TDs. This match-up is dependent on whether or not the Irish try to stack the box or shut down the pass.
Best Value Plays
Travis Etienne $6,900
Etienne is always a good play. He will get you rushing yards and yards in the passing game. Expect Etienne to get you 15-25 fantasy points.
Trey Sermon $6,600
Sermon had a huge game vs Northwestern and he’s stepped up as the #1 RB for the Buckeyes.
Zamir White $5,900
James Cook is out vs Cincinnati which means White is the clear cut number one option at RB.
Tank Bigsby $5,600
Bigsby was one of the top freshman in college football this season, and he has a favorable match-up.
Cam Porter $4,900
Porter had 16.6 fantasy points vs Ohio State and 30.5 vs Illinois. He’s stepped up as the #1 RB for NU.
Wide Receivers/Tight Ends
Top Play
Devonta Smith $9,000
Smith is arguably the best player in the country, and no matter what the Irish do, they won’t be able to stop him.
Best Value Plays
Garrett Wilson $7,200 & Chris Olave $6,400
Wilson and Olave are both the top targets for Justin Fields. Picking which one will do better is impossible, but I’d take Olave because he’s cheaper.
Amari Rodgers $6,500
Rodgers is the top target for Trevor Lawrence and his price isn’t too bad.
George Pickens $6,100
Pickens is a home run threat and he scored 32.6 Fantasy Points vs Missouri.
Cornell Powell $5,800
Powell has stepped up big for the Tigers this season, and he’s averaging 14.4 FPPG.
John Metchie III $5,100
Metchie is the #2 option at wide receiver for the Crimson Tide, and he’s a good price vs the Irish.
Seth Williams $5,000 & Eli Stove $4,100
Williams and Stove will have to step up vs Northwestern because Anthony Schwartz is out.
Braden Galloway $3,600
Galloway is an extremely cheap option and could easily get you 10 fantasy points, which is great value.
Michael Mayer $3,500
Mayer scored 10 fantasy points vs Clemson and he’s a guy who is averaging 7.8 fantasy points per game, which is great value for this price.
