Former Florida Forward Chase Johnson has announced his transfer to Dayton. The 6’10” big man left the Florida program in search for a fresh start.
Johnson was a 4-star recruit in the 2017 recruiting class for head coach Mike White and Florida. However, he was never able to find a rhythm with the Gators, after suffering from multiple concussions. He redshirted his freshman season, then played limited minutes this season due to more injuries. Johnson chose the Flyers over Pitt, and will have 3.5 years of eligibility remaining.
