Tom Izzo has been on a recruiting tear this summer. Five star Enoch Boakye has committed to Michigan State. He chose the Spartans over UCLA, Arizona, Texas Tech, and many others. He joins a Michigan State recruiting class that is currently ranked #1 in the nation for 2022.
Enoch Boakye is a 6’10” center from Canada. His body control is very good for an athlete his size. Also, it is not surprising that he is a very good rebounder. Michigan State has been the favorite to land Enoch’s services for a while now. He took multiple unofficial visits to the school. Kentucky and Duke were interested as well, but never seemed to gain traction. Today, he decided to commit to Tom Izzo and Michigan State.
Enoch Boakye joins the top recruiting class for 2022. He joins the number one player in high school basketball Emoni Bates. There is a chance that Enoch could reclassify to the 2021 class but as of right now he will remain in the 2022 class. Tom Izzo has made it very clear that he is still a top recruiter in college basketball. He has landed three five star commitments this summer and a four star commitment from Pierre Brooks back in April. Michigan State is projected to be one of the top teams in college basketball this upcoming season. Michigan State continues to prove that they are one of the top programs in all of college basketball.
