In March, C Chase Jeter announced that he would transfer from Duke University. Today, he told the world that his future home will be the University of Arizona. After focusing primarily on the West Coast with visits to UCLA, Gonzaga, and Cal, he made it official, as he made the announcement on Instagram.
Unfortunately for Wildcat fans, the former five-star recruit will have to sit out a year due to NCAA rules. And that means that Jeter will in all likelihood miss playing with five-star PF DeAndre Ayton, who will almost certainly be a one-and-done player. However, that will allow the Wildcats to bridge the gap to after Ayton declares for the NBA. They will be set up really well in the front court for the next few years. The future is bright in Arizona. And we’re not just saying that because it’s in a desert.
