(23) Auburn 27 Tennessee 20
The Tigers are a better overall team than the Vols with a better QB. Give me the Tigers by a TD.
NC State 38 (21) Liberty 34
The Wolfpack actually lost to Virginia Tech, who lost to Liberty, so this pick may not make sense. The Wolfpack are a deeper, more talented team with a solid O-Line and D-Line.
Utah 31 (20) USC 28
USC has been playing with fire the first two weeks. Last week it was vs an Arizona team who many predicted to have a down year. This week they won’t be able to get away with the sloppy play against a solid opponent. Give me the Utes,
(17) Iowa State 31 Kansas State 17
The Cyclones keep rolling vs a tough KSU squad.
(18) Oklahoma 34 (14) Oklahoma State 27
The Sooners had a rough start but I believe Spencer Rattler is finding his stride and helps lead the sooners to victory.
(15) Coastal Carolina 27 Appalachian State 20
There is no way I can pick against the CHANTS right now. These guys are on fire and I believe they take down SunBelt powerhouse Appalachian State.
(13) Georgia 31 Mississippi State 7
Mike Leach has had a rough time since that win vs LSU and the Dawgs defense is legit. UGA rolls in this one.
(11) Oregon 34 UCLA 17
Tyler Shough impressed me last week and the Ducks have way more talent/depth than the Bruins. DTR and UCLA did impress me vs Cal, so I expect UCLA to cover the spread. However, the Bruins ultimately come up short.
(10) Wisconsin 24 (19) Northwestern 20
This will be an incredible game, two tough, disciplined defensive oriented teams going at it. I believe the Wildcats can keep it close but I like the Badgers to win.
(8) BYU 69 North Alabama 7
Zach Wilson and the Cougars only have one game left on the schedule after this one so I’m not sure they take their foot off the gas too early.
(7) Cincinnati 34 UCF 27
The Bearcats Defense has been incredible but they’ll face a QB in Dillon Gabriel who can sling it. Ultimately I don’t believe the UCF Defense can stop Desmond Ridder and the bearcats offense and cincy stays undefeated.
(6) Florida 52 Vanderbilt 10
Kyle Trask is #1 in my Heisman Rankings and I expect him to continue to pad his stats in this game.
(3) Ohio State 42 (9) Indiana 24
The Hoosiers are having a remarkable season and Tom Allen has his team playing extraordinary football. BUT the Buckeyes are on another level, I expect the Hoosiers to hang around for a while but Ohio State will pull away late.
(1) Alabama 45 Kentucky 17
Mac Jones and the Crimson Tide are finally back after a few weeks off and I expect them to continue to roll vs a Wildcats team who almost lost to Vanderbilt.
Top Unranked Games
Iowa 27 Penn State 21
The Hawkeyes are 2.5 point favorites and looking to make the Nittany Lions 0-5. PSU has a much more talented team by the 247 Team Talent Composite but Iowa seems to be tougher and they’re better coached.
Army 27 Georgia Southern 20
This game is between two option offenses and could be one of the better under the radar games of Week 12.
Pittsburgh 31 Virginia Tech 28
With Kenny Pickett at QB the Panthers are a much better team and I’m done trusting Justin Fuente and the Hokies in close games.
Arkansas 34 LSU 27
The Razorbacks were 45 point underdogs last season vs LSU and this season they’re only 2 point underdogs. I like how Arkansas is playing and LSU not so much, give me Arkansas by a touchdown.
