Top 25

(25) Louisiana 31 South Alabama 17

The Ragin Cajuns are the better team, but the Jaguars are sneaky good and should keep this close.

(23) Northwestern 27 Purdue 24

This will be one of the best games of the weekend and the winner will remain undefeated.

(22) Liberty 45 Western Carolina 10

The Flames could probably score 60+ in this game if they want, but I like them by 5 TDs.

(20) USC 38 Arizona 27

I’m still trying to get a read on how good the Trojans are and Arizona has yet to play a game. The Trojans win, but the Wildcats could cover the 14 points.

Tulsa 34 (19) SMU 28

I’m going with Tulsa to take down Shane Buechele and the Mustangs. Tulsa has some good DBs who could cause problems for the Mustangs high powered passing offense.

(16) Marshall 42 Middle Tennessee 14

The Herd should roll past a bad MTSU team. Expect a big game from RB Brendan Knox.

(13) Wisconsin 27 Michigan 24

I know what you’re thinking- this is the dumbest pick of the season. And you might be correct. BUT I have to trust my process. Michigan is 4.5 point underdogs and 75% of bets are coming in on the Badgers who are coming off a two-week covid absence. I’m off the Jim Harbaugh train, but the Wolverines cover here.

(11) Oregon 38 Washington State 24

This could be closer than I’m predicting. WSU played well last week and exceeded my expectations. But it was just again Oregon State. The Ducks are by far the more talented team and should get win #2.

(10) Indiana 31 Michigan State 17

The Hoosiers have proved to everyone that they’re legit. Expect them to stay perfect vs a bad MSU team.

Virginia Tech 38 (9) Miami 34

This game is tricky. Normally when an unranked team is favored over a Top 10 team, the unranked team wins. I have to trust that process and pick VT.

(6) Florida 34 Arkansas 21

The Gators can’t take it easy vs the Razorbacks coming off a big win. Feleipe Franks will be looking to take down his former team and it’s possible the Razorbacks can keep this game close.

(2) Notre Dame 31 Boston College 20

The Irish stay perfect, but the Eagles keep it closer than people think.
