4-Star S Demani Richardson commits to Texas A&M

One of the top players in the 2019 recruiting class, Demani Richardson, announced that he will be spending the next 2-4 years of his football career in College Station. Richardson had offers from powerhouses all over the nation including Alabama, Georgia, Ohio State, and many more. Demani made his decision during his visit to Texas A&M, making their Junior Day successful, even if he ends up being the only commitment of the weekend. He is the 7th commitment in the 2019 class for the Aggies and the 2nd Safety. He joins the #1 Safety in the class, Brian Williams, easily giving Texas A&M the best secondary of the class so far. The Aggies now have the #2 class in the SEC and the #4 class in the nation.

Richardson stands at 6’2″ and around 205 pounds. He uses his size and length to cover ground and make plays deep down the field. Although Demani is very long, he has a very powerful base that allows him to dig in and lay some wood on opposing offenses. This makes him comfortable either playing in the box or as the center fielder in coverage. He will have to work on his technique a little bit in order to continue succeeding at the next level, but the athleticism is very apparent when watching him play. Aggies fans can’t wait to see this kid wreak havoc on SEC offenses for years to come.
