There are 29 days until the start of the college football season. To celebrate we honor North Texas QB Mason Fine. Fine averaged 29 touchdowns and 10 interceptions in the 2017 and 2018 seasons. The Locust Grove, Oklahoma native is poised to have an amazing senior season in 2019.
Fine not only has the accuracy, he also has the arm strength to excel in Seth Littrell’s air raid. Although it is clear that Mason fine has all the tools right now, college coaches weren’t always sold on him. In fact, the Mean Green were his only offer. Seth Littrell offered him a scholarship back in 2016 and he committed on the spot. No other head coach wanted to take a chance on him as they thought he was “too small.”
Littrell is sure glad that he took that chance. With 2+ years as the starting QB, Mason Fine has put up some impressive numbers. He has combined for 9,417 yards and 64 passing touchdowns. He also added 5 touchdowns on the ground.
