If you are a fan of the Sun Belt Conference, your eyes should be glued to the TV any time App State, Ga Southern, or Troy plays an in conference opponent. You can go ahead and bet the house that one of those teams will come out on top by the end of the year. Here are our predictions for the 2019 Sun Belt Conference.

Favorite: App State (-180)
Dark horse: Georgia Southern (+550)
Easiest Path: Troy
Toughest Path: Georgia Southern

App State is the overwhelming favorite in the Sun Belt this year, but any game that includes App State, Ga Southern or Troy will be critical for the division. I could see either of the top 2 games on the list deciding the division. And I do have App State winning the division as projected.
SBC West
Favorite: Arkansas St (-125)
Easiest Path: UL Lafayette
Toughest Path: UL Monroe

Arkansas State is the favorite in the division and in my opinion the Red Wolves should be able to go 3-1 or 4-0 vs their division. This is why the game @ Troy is so important. If the Red Wolves lose to Troy, then that could open it up for UL Monroe or UL Lafayette if they can knock off Arkansas State. However, I have the Red Wolves making it to the title game.
SBC Title Game
Its not that Arkansas State isn’t good, because they are. However, I think it’s a pretty easy pick to have App State winning the SBC. The Mountaineers should be good for 9-10 wins and maybe more, if they can knock off either of the Carolina teams (North & South).
