Zamir “Zeus” White announced his commitment to the Georgia Bulldogs on Tuesday, as they were able to hold off a late push by the Tar Heels over the past month. Despite having visited Chapel Hill in the past two weeks, Athens will be the home for the nation’s #1 running back. Zeus decided to announce his commitment on his mother’s birthday, and this is possible the best gift that he could have given her.

The Bulldogs have stolen their next great running back out of the state of North Carolina, as Todd Gurley is living proof that they can put NC backs in the league. Zeus will fit in the UGA offense perfectly, and he will step on campus right after Nick Chubb and Sony Michel leave for the NFL. He will compliment the running styles of D’Andre Swift and Elijah Holyfield, giving head coach Kirby Smart one of the best running games in the nation for the next couple of years. It will be difficult for even SEC defensive lines will be able to contain a stable that the Bulldogs have been able to put together. We fully expect to see White continue the tradition of other Georgia running back greats, and see him being a first or second round pick whenever he declares for the draft. Watch out Saban and the rest of the SEC, Zeus is coming for you.
