The majority of recruits have already signed during the early signing period. So there’s only a handful of impact players left on the board. We will take a look at some of the top guys available and make predictions.
5☆ OT Darnell Wright
Wright is the best Offensive Lineman available heading into NSD. He’s from Huntington, West Virginia and stands at 6’6″ 320 lbs. Wright has the size and skills to play and start as a true freshman, depending on where he goes. His recruitment is basically down to Tennessee and Alabama, and I expect the Vols to secure his signature.

5☆ RB Jerrion Ealy
Ealy is the best overall player left on the board. He’s also the most intriguing recruit in 2019 because he’s expected to be a high pick in the 2019 MLB Draft. Ealy is explosive and has elite speed. Clemson, Alabama, Ole Miss and Mississippi State are the contenders.

4☆ LB Henry To’oto’o
To’oto’o is the best uncommitted player left in California. He can play OLB or ILB. He has a good mix of speed, strength, and good field awareness. Washington, Utah, Tennessee, Alabama and Oregon are the main contenders.

4☆ DT Ishmael Sopsher
At 6’4″ 335 lbs Sopsher is gigantic. He should excel at stopping the run and has enough strength to get a push up the middle. His recruitment is down to Alabama and LSU. This recruitment is a coin flip and really could go either way.

4☆ CB Kaiir Elam
Elam has always been considered a heavy Florida Gators lean. However, Charlton Warren leaving for Georgia has made it a two team race between Florida & Georgia. The Gators hired Torrian Gray as their DB coach, and I’m sticking with Elam to Florida.

4☆ DE Charles Moore
Moore is a versatile 6’4″ 290-pound DE from Louisville, Mississippi. He was committed to Mississippi State for a long time, but decommitted January 7th. His recruitment is down to Mississippi State, Auburn, LSU and Florida.
Prediction: Auburn
4☆ LB Eugene Asante
Asante was once ranked the 2,223rd ranked recruit in the 2019 class. He’s now ranked 282nd and a 4☆. UNC, FSU, Virginia Tech and Nebraska have all made a push for the talented linebacker. But ultimately I think he stays home & plays for VT.

4☆ DT Jaquaze Sorrells
Sorrells has been a South Carolina lean for quite a while. He didn’t sign in the early signing period because of possible academic hold ups. However, that’s apparently taken care of now.

4☆ RB Jamious Griffin
Griffin was a NC State commit but decided to decommit. It’s possible he joins his brother LB Quon Griffin at Georgia Tech. He’s a bruiser who has the ability to break tackles with ease.

4☆ DE Isaiah Foskey
Foskey is an athletic TE/DE who stands at 6’4″ 235 pounds. The main contenders are Notre Dame, CAL, Michigan, Washington and Ohio State.

4☆ LB Daniel Heimuli
Heimuli moves well in space and is a good coverage Linebacker who can also rush the passer. I expect him to be a quality starter in the Pac 12 for 3-4 years.

4☆ ATH Mark Antony-Richards
Richards could play RB or DB at the next level. He is quick with good vision that helps him find a hole to run though, or diagnose a play at DB. His recruitment is down to Miami, Auburn and Florida.

4☆ QB Lance Legendre
Legendre was once committed to Kansas. Now, the Florida State Seminoles seem to be the favorite to land his signature. Lance is a Dual Threat QB but needs to polish his accuracy and decision making. If he can do that he has a chance to be a special QB.

4☆ CB Jay Ward
The four teams contending for Ward are FSU, Kentucky, LSU & Texas A&M. Ward has good size at 6’1″ 180 lbs and isn’t afraid to make a hit and get into the backfield to stop the run.

4☆ ATH Devonta Lee
At one time Lee was considered a top WR Prospect. Now, he’s grown into more of a Safety or Linebacker at the next level. He’s got all the physical tools, but will need to develop his game on the Defensive side. The teams contending for his signature are LSU, Kentucky and Texas A&M.

4☆ OG Enokk Vimahi
Vimahi is a 6’5″ 270 pound mauler from Hawaii. He’s lean and athletic for an Offensive Guard but will add 50 pounds with ease. He’s excellent in run blocking and even has a mean steak. Ohio State, Notre Dame, USC & Oklahoma are all pushing for his signature.

3☆ WR T.J. Jones
Jones is an athletic receiver from Lake City, Florida. He’s got good hands and athleticism. He needs to shore up his route running, and he will be a solid receiver at the next level.

4☆ DT Wisdom Asaboro
Asaboro reclassified from the 2020 class to 2019. He stands at 6’8″ 280 pounds. That’s why he best projects as an Offensive Tackle at the next level. The teams in consideration for his signature are UVA, UNC, Penn State, Auburn and Oregon.

He recently released a Top 4 of Florida State, Penn State, Maryland and Georgia. Penn State and Georgia have a good opportunity to flip his commitment if he decides to change.

4☆ OG Doug Nester (Ohio State Commit)
Nester has been committed to the Buckeyes for a while now, but with Urban Meyer retiring he has looked around some. He recently visited Penn State and visited Virginia Tech this weekend. Nester will not sign with Ohio State.
