Head coach Jim Mora and the UCLA Bruins just found their man at the WR position for the 2018 class with the commitment of Jahan Dotson. Dotson visited UCLA this past weekend, and the Bruins were not going to let him leave without a commitment. The speedy WR saw a lot of opportunity, as the Bruins are reloading at the position in this class. Couple that with the fact that they already have one of the top QBs in the nation in Dorian Thompson-Robinson and the opportunity was too good to pass up.

Dotson’s commitment brings UCLA up to the #10 class in the nation and #2 in the Pac 12 only behind Oregon. The fact that a kid from PA has decided to across the country to play in Southern California might come as a surprise to some people. However, the UCLA coaching staff has done everything they can to maintain a great relationship with him ever since they offered back in February of this year. Dotson is a speedy WR that is 5’11 and only 165 pounds right now, but we expect for him to put on some weight once he steps foot on campus in Los Angeles. He had offers from all over the country including Penn State, Ohio State, and big bad Bama. We expect to see the DTR-Dotson connection many times over the next few years, making UCLA fans very happy.
