Five star WR Brennan Eagles Commits to Texas

Head Coach Tom Herman and the Texas Longhorns got a huge commitment from one of the top players in the 2018 class. Brennan Eagles is a do-it-all WR that has just as much NFL potential as almost any other receiver in this class. This is absolutely big news for Texas, as just 3 days ago, they received a commitment from one of the top Safeties in the 2018 class, Jalen Green, and a little over a week ago they got another one of the nation’s top receivers in Al’vonte Woodard. Just like that, Texas now has one of the top 5 recruiting classes for 2018. The Longhorns have been building a fence around the state, as they already have 5 of the top 10 recruits out of the Lone Star state, one of the nation’s hot beds for blue chip prospects.

Eagles is already a man amongst boys on the football field, as he stands at around 6’4″ and weighs about 215 pounds. That size will help him continue his dominance at the next level, and with some added speed the kid can be one of the best in the nation. We aren’t entirely sure that he will have to add much weight at all and think that he can step on the field as soon as he gets to UT. His ability to manhandle any defender off the line will be fun to watch in that burnt orange uniform. 2018 Qbs Cameron Rising and Casey Thompson, both committed to Texas, have to be ecstatic about this pickup, and we’re sure they can’t wait to be teammates with this stud. With Woodard on one side and Eagles on the other, the offensive woes from the past few years of the Texas faithful are sure to be alleviated.
