Aggies get their man
The Aggies received great news, as 6’5″ 195 lb 4-star WR Kenyon Jackson committed to Texas A&M. Jackson is out of Grayson (GA), one the top high schools in the country. So he knows what it takes to compete against the best competition on the field.

Jackson highly sought after
With his size and speed, it was no wonder that Jackson had offers from the top programs in the country. From Michigan to LSU, Auburn to Florida St, Tennessee to Texas, teams were lining up for a chance at the talented wideout. However, the Aggies & new head coach Jimbo Fisher got their man. Now Jackson has a chance to flourish under Jimbo like other WRs such as Kelvin Benjamin, Rashad Greene, Auden Tate, & Dwayne Bowe (when Fisher was at LSU) that played for him.
Kenyon ready to play
Considering how well he is already developed, Jackson will see the playing field early in his career. His ability to high point the ball will give Aggies QBs a great red zone target. That early playing time will also allow him to build chemistry with the quarterbacks sooner rather than later. He has great hands and isn’t afraid to catch the ball in traffic. His size makes him difficult to bring down, especially against smaller DBs. Add all of that to his blocking ability down field, and it’s easy to see that the Aggies got themselves a complete wide receiver.
Jimbo continues building an empire
Kenyon Jackson’s commitment has moved Texas A&M up to the 4th ranked class in the country. Jimbo continues to reel in the big time talent, as he amasses an empire. It won’t happen overnight, but if the Aggies continue their current upward trend that they’ve been on ever since Fisher stepped on campus, they will be making some serious noise in the SEC for years to come.
