The Aggies picked up a huge commitment on Monday as Barton Clement announced that he will be spending the next four years in College Station. Clement is a huge offensive lineman that is listed at 6’3″ and over 300 pounds. He is a top 10 guard in the nation and is one of the top 4 stars in the 2018 class.

Coach Kevin Sumlin has made a killing on the recruiting trail as Clement’s commitment brings the Aggies into a top 10 class nationally. 12 of their 13 commitments in the 2018 class have come out of the Lone Star state, Barton being one of them. In the 2016 season, the offensive guard was an AP Class 5A first-team all-state selection, and a second team all district as sophomore the year before. Clement is extremely nimble for his size and will be able to open up some holes for the Aggie running backs in the coming years.
