The days until college football returns are winding down. In honor of the 83 days left we remember Ki-Jana Carter’s 83-yard TD vs Oregon in the 1995 Rose Bowl. This play set the tone for Penn State as they defeated the Oregon Ducks 38-20.
This run happened to be Penn State’s first offensive play of the game. Ki-Jana Carter broke some tackles and showed off his speed in this incredible play. Not only did this play help his team achieve an undefeated season, it also stated his case as the #1 draft pick in the 1995 NFL draft. Carter finished the game with 2 more visits to the end zone, and was named the MVP. It was a big day for the Nittany Lions!
