There are 56 days until college football returns. Today we look back at when Florida St QB Jameis Winston hit a 56-yard TD pass against Boston College.
In 2013, the Seminoles visited Chestnut Hill to take on Boston College. The 8th ranked Noles found themselves in a hole against the Eagles early. After falling down by two touchdowns early, Florida St needed a spark. And Jameis Winston provided that spark in the form of a 56-yard touchdown strike to Rashad Greene:
It was just what the Noles needed, and that pass turned the entire game around. They snatched the momentum from the Eagles and never game it back. They would outscore BC 45-17 the rest of the way. Winston would finish the day with 330 yards passing and 4 touchdowns. Florida St would go on to win the National Title that year.
