The Top D2, D3, and NAIA QBs in the Country

There are great football players at all levels of college football. Often times people focus only on Division 1 and ignore the rest. However, players at other levels sometime only need a spotlight to showcase their talent. And that’s exactly what we’re giving them. Here are the top D2, D3, and NAIA QBs in the country.

Cameron Dukes – Lindsey Wilson (KY)

Dukes is one of the top returning NAIA QBs in 2020. Last season, he threw for 3,394 yards 35 touchdowns. His accuracy and decision making really stands out. Check him out this season!

Tyson Kooima – Northwestern (Iowa)

Kooima has had a fantastic career. He’s put up some huge numbers, throwing for 8,779 passing yards and 72 TDs in his career. He’s a dual threat QB who’s also rushed for 1,533 yards and 29 touchdowns in his career.

Luke Anthony – Wheaton

Wheaton will be one of the Top D3 teams in 2020, and Anthony returning is a big reason why. In 2019 alone, he passed for 2,915 yards and 35 touchdowns.

Grayson Willingham – Lenoir Rhyne

Lenior Rhyne got a lot of recognition when DB Kyle Dugger was drafted by the New England Patirots in April. They also have a really good quarterback. Willingham has thrown for 4,459 yards and 53 TDs in his career, including 26 touchdowns in 2019. Remember the name!

Will Schneider – William Jewell

William Jewell was 1-10 (0-7) last season, but QB Will Schneider did everything he could do. He passed for 2,405 yards and 12 TDs, while rushing for 352 yards 8 and TDs. In 2020, expect him to have a big season and cut down on INTs (9).

Xander Jedlick – Christopher Newport

Jedlick is a player I’m expecting to have a breakout season from in 2020. The Captains got a future star at QB who had a big career at Ocean Lakes HS in the 757 (Virginia). Mark him down and remember the name!

Ryan Sedgwick – Stevenson

Sedgwick had a big season in 2019 as a freshman. He threw for 3,234 yards and 30 touchdowns with just 8 INTs. His completion % was 67.4 as well. Expect another big season in 2020 from the sophomore.

Michael Hnatkowsky – Muhlenberg

Muhlenberg is one of the top D3 CFB teams and Hnatkowsky is one of the top D3 QBs returning in 2020. Last season, he threw for 46 passing touchdowns and rushed for 3 on the ground, as well.

Gavin Zimbelman – Aurora

Zimbelman was the Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference Offensive Player of the Year in 2019. Last season, he threw for 3,614 yards and 57 touchdowns and rushed for 414 yards and 4 TDs on the ground.

Rogan Wells – Valdosta State

Valdosta State is one of the top D2 Schools in CFB. Rogan Wells is a big reason why. In his career, he has 4,480 passing yards and 50 touchdowns, while adding 1,230 rushing yards and 19 TDs on the ground.

Jon Jund – Montana Western

Jund had a huge season in 2019. He threw for 2,746 yards and 31 touchdowns while rushing for 365 yards and 8 touchdowns.

Stephen Sturm – Bentley

Sturm has thrown for 5,277 yards and 35 touchdowns in his career and also rushed for 208 yards and 7 touchdowns on the ground. Remember the name!

Joe Dolincheck – Morningside

Morningside is one of the top teams in the NAIA, if not the best. Dolincheck completed 68.1% of his passes in 2019 and threw for 4,303 yards and 49 touchdowns.
