Oregon’s uniforms will be a bit more traditional this year

After incorporating almost of the colors of the rainbow into their uniforms over the past few years, the Oregon Ducks will be a bit more traditional/”retro” (think 2010) this year.

“We’re going to try to stick to more traditional colors this year,” Kenny Farr, UO’s football equipment administrator, said last week after a spring football practice. “Trying to kind of simplify a few things but still keep it modern and keep it looking really good.”

The Ducks went a disappointing 4-8 last year. Was it the uniforms? Probably not, but why take chances? Time to clean house, including up firing coach Mark Helfrich. Oregon ditched the bedazzled orange and blue unis and hired Willie Taggert to replace Helfrich. A fresh start all around.
