Brandon McIlwain tweeted his intentions to transfer from South Carolina Wednesday evening. The two-sport star’s departure leaves the Gamecocks with only 2 scholarship QBs on their roster.
McIlwain was a top 5 Dual-Threat QB of the 2016 class and will likely be red-shirted if he is forced to sit out a year due to his transfer.
