Four Star SF Jaedon LeDee commits to OSU

The Ohio State men’s basketball team received some good news this week as top SF Jaedon LeDee announced that he will be spending the next four year in Columbus. He chose the Buckeyes over Cal, Houston, Iowa State, LSU, Oklahoma, Texas A&M, UCLA, among many others. It seems that Jaedon’s visit to Columbus on September 9 was the reason he decided to move his decision up to now. He left saying, “I’m headed to Ohio State and I picked them because they have everything I wanted in a school.”

LeDee has gone through several growth spurts the past couple of years as he started out at about 6’5″ in the eighth grade and he is now right around 6’9″. He can play at the 3 spot, but it seems with his increase in his height his coach believes he is perfect for the PF position as well. The experience that he is gaining at both positions will be valuable once he lands on campus, allowing him to see the court sooner. Since he is still growing into his new height his post game definitely needs a little work, but that will come with experience. His biggest strength might be his ability to spread the ball around the court. LeDee has one of the better passing games for a kid his size in the 2018 class. This is a huge pickup for the Buckeyes and we expect to see them try to build on this moment for 2018.
