Five star guard Max Christie commits to Michigan State.

Tom Izzo has been killing it in recruiting recently. After landing arguably the nations top high school player in the country Emoni Bates in June, Tom Izzo lands another five star commitment. Five star guard Max Christie has committed to Michigan State. Christie chose the Spartans over Duke, Illinois, Northwestern, and many others. He is a member of the 2021 class.

Max Christie is known as one of the best shooters in the 2021 class. He has very good size for his postion and a high basketball IQ. Early on in his recruitment many believed he was a Duke lean with Illinois and Northwestern right behind them. Buzz between Max Christie and Michigan State started last month. The days leading up to his commitment, Michigan State seemed like a sure bet. He made it official today by committing to Tom Izzo and the Spartans.

Christie is considered a top fifteen player in the class of 2021. He will join four star Pierre Brooks for Michigan State’s 2021 class. I am expecting Michigan State to add at least one more player to the class. Jaden Akins is the next player I would watch for the Spartans. Christie was a VERY BIG commit for the Spartans. If Emoni Bates does indeed reclassify, this could be one of the best recruiting classes Tom Izzo has ever brought in to East Lansing.
