College Football’s best FCS QBs in 2021

There are a lot of great QBs in the FCS. Some of these players have NFL Potential, some are FBS Transfers and some are just great all around players.


Shedeur Sanders – Jackson State

Sanders was a 4 star QB in the 2021 class. He will start this fall at QB and has lofty expectations. Shedeur has a big arm & can also use his legs when needed, remember the name!!!


Eric Schmid – Sam Houston

Schmid led the Bearkats to a Spring 2021 National Championship. He’s a Dual Threat who is poised & a leader. In his career he’s thrown for 4,583 yards 33 TDs & rushed for 561 yards 13 TDs.


Eric Barriere – Eastern Washington

Barriere is one of the best QBs in the #FCS. In his career he’s thrown for 8,739 yards 75 TDs and rushed for 1,363 yards 18 TDs.


Cameron Ward – Incarnate Word

Ward had a HUGE 2020 season as a Freshman. He threw for 2,260 yards 24 TDs and rushed for 2 TDs. Ward has a big arm and bright future ahead of him.

Breylin Smith – Central Arkansas

Smith is an outstanding QB. In his career he’s thrown for 4,791 yards 39 TDs while completing 65% of his passes and also rushed for 3 TDs.


Zion Webb – Jacksonville State

In the 2020-2021 season Webb threw for 1,777 yards 13 TDs and rushed for 399 yards 5 TDs.


Lindsey Scott – Nicholls

Scott Jr threw for 1,684 yards 18 Touchdowns this spring and also rushed for 557 yards 6 TDs. He’s one of the top QBs in the #FCS.


Cole Johnson – JMU

Johnson returns this Fall and looks to lead JMU to a National Championship. In his career he’s thrown for 2,732 yards 17 TDs while completing 65% of his passes. He’s also rushed for 4 TDs.


Mark Pappas – Morehead State

Pappas is fun to watch, he’s always poised & he’s highly underrated. In his career he’s thrown for 3,553 yards 30 TDs and rushed for 4 TDs.


Mark Gronowski – SDSU

Gronowski threw for 1,565 yards 15 Touchdowns and rushed for 577 yards 7 TDs this spring as a Freshman.


Cody Orgeron – McNeese

Cody is the son of LSU HC Ed Orgeron. He’s a phenomenal athlete who’s thrown for 4,594 yards 36 TDs and rushed for 887 yards 7 TDs.


Nolan Henderson – Delaware

Henderson is an accurate passer with great awareness. In his career he’s completed 65% of his passes while throwing for 2,567 yards 20 TDs. He’s also rushed for 3 TDs.


Tommy Schuster – North Dakota

Schuster was sensational this spring as a Freshman. He threw for 1,428 yards 10 TDs. Bright future ahead for Tommy.


Seth Morgan – VMI

Morgan stepped in this spring for VMI when Udinski went down with an injury. The Freshman threw for 1,374 yards 10 TDs and rushed for 221 yards 3 TDs, remember the name!!!


Aqeel Glass – Alabama A&M

Glass was impressive this spring. In four games he threw for 1,355 Passing yards 16 TDs and rushed for 1 TD.


Quincy Patterson – NDSU

Patterson a former 4 star & VT Transfer has a ton of upside. He will make an immediate impact for the Bison. QP is a big physical QB who will run you over. In his career he has 333 rushing yards 3 TDs & 359 Passing yards 4 TDs.


Carter Peavy – Mercer

Peavy was impressive in 2020 as a Freshman throwing for 1,318 yards 8 TDs and rushing for 186 yards 4 TDs.


Bronson Barron – Weber State

Barron threw for 1,071 yards 7 TDs as a Freshman this spring in 5 games and rushed for 1 TD.


Skyler Perry – UAPB

In 5 games this spring Perry threw for 1,236 yards 13 TDs and rushed for 3 TDs. Perry is a smart QB with awareness and excellent pocket presence.


Tony Muskett – Monmouth

Muskett impressed this spring as a Freshman. He threw for 1,039 yards and 9 TDs.  Muskett shows good poise & pocket awareness for a young player.


Joe Fagnano – Maine

Fagnano threw for 795 yards 8 Touchdowns this past season. He’s one of the Top QBs in the #CAA.


Joe Mancuso – Richmond

Mancuso has thrown for 4,019 yards 26 TDs and rushed for 1,226 yards 15 TDs in his career.


Daniel Smith – Villanova

Smith threw for 677 yards 4 TDs and rushed for 1 TD in four games this spring.


Hajj-Malik Williams – Campbell

Hajj-Malik is a sensational player who has been helping build this Camels program up. In his career he’s thrown for 2,704 yards 20 TDs and rushed for 869 yards 13 TDs.


John Lampley – Southern

Lampley threw for 525 yards 6 TDs and rushed for 46 yards this past season.


Liam Welch – Samford

Welch is a phenomenal QB. This past season he threw for 2,242 yards 12 TDs and rushed for 303 yards 4 TDs.


Joe Mischler – Duquesne

In 5 games last season Mischler threw for 1,195 yards 9 TDs completing 65% of his passes.


Carson Camp – South Dakota

Camp threw for 967 yards 3 TDs in the 2020-2021 season. He completed 63% of his passes and showed poise for a young player. He also rushed for 1 TD.


Cole Kelley – SE Louisiana

Kelley was the 2020-2021 Walter Payton Award Winner. Last season he threw for 2,662 yards 27 Total TDs and had seven 300+ yard passing games. He’s a tall, strong armed QB who has #NFL potential.


Tim DeMorat – Fordham

DeMorat threw for 1,049 yards 5 TDs this spring and also rushed for 2 TDs.


Marquez McCray – Sacred Heart

McCray has thrown for 1,211 yards 9 TDs in his career while completing 65% of his passes.


Hunter Rodrigues – UC Davis

Rodrigues threw for 931 yards this past season with 8 TDs and he rushed for 2 more TDs on the ground. Rodrigues is an accurate passer completing 66% of his passes as well.


Justin Miller – Southern Utah

Miller had 15 Passing TDs this past season throwing for 1,704 yards and completing 66% of his passes.


Tyler Huff – Presbyterian

Huff impressed me this spring. He threw for 1,465 yards 10 TDs and rushed for 206 yards 3 TDs. Remember the Name!!!!!


Jack Cook – Dayton

Cook is a phenomenal player. In 2019 he threw for 2,697 yards 33 TDs completing 63% of his passes. He’s also rushed for 12 TDs.


Jeff Undercuffler – Albany

Undercuffler is one of the top QBs in the #FCS who doesn’t get enough recognition. In his career he’s thrown for 4,625 yards 51 TDs.


Steven Duncan – Tarleton State

Duncan the former WKU Hilltopper had a big season this spring. He threw for 1,542 yards 11 TDs and established himself as one of the best QBs in the #FCS.


Kody Wilstead – Dixie State

Wilstead stands in at 6’7 and has a cannon for an arm. This spring he threw for 1,339 yards 10 TDs and rushed for 113 yards 3 TDs, remember the name!!!!!


Mason Randall – San Diego

Randall threw for 1,561 yards 10 TDs this spring and rushed for 1 TD. Remember the Name!!!


John Bachus III – UT Martin

Bachus III had a good spring season. He threw for 1,697 yards 14 TDs and rushed for another TD.


Bryce Rivers – Northwestern State

This spring Rivers threw for 1,091 yards 6 TDs and rushed for 1 TD. Keep an eye on him this Fall.


Keondre Wudtee – NAU

Wudtee has thrown for 1,080 yards 4 TDs and rushed for 3 TDs in his career.


Preston Rice – Murray State

Rice has been an outstanding player in his collegiate career. He’s thrown for 3,464 yards 23 TDs and rushed for 5 TDs.


Hamp Sisson – Furman

Sisson has thrown for 1,813 yards 14 TDs in his career and rushed for 1 TD.


Carlos Davis – WCU

Davis is going to be an outstanding player for WCU. The JUCO Transfer threw for 1,250 yards 14 TDs and rushed for 456 yards 5 TDs in seven JUCO games.


Fred Payton Jr – Mercer

Payton transfers in from Coastal Carolina where he was a really solid QB. In his career he’s thrown for 2,381 yards 21 TDs and rushed for 405 yards 2 TDs.


Quincy Casey – Alabama A&M

Casey transfers to Alabama A&M from Jackson State. This spring in limited action he had 465 Passing yards 5 TDs and also rushed for 1 TD. He showed excellent vision & arm strength, remember the name!!!


Tyler Selvig – South Dakota

Selvig transfers in from Antelope Valley College. Last season in 10 games he threw for 1,159 yards 13 TDs and rushed for 5 more TDs.
