It’s time for Week 2 in college football. And it’s time for predictions. Lots of good football and interesting match-ups. Be sure to check out the ATS picks at the end.

(25) Auburn 52 Alabama State 7
Even if Auburn is looking ahead to Penn State, they’ll still roll in this one.
(24) UNC 45 Georgia State 21
Georgia State has playmakers on offense and could score a garbage time TD or two. However, expect Sam Howell and the Heels offense to roll in this one.
(23) Arizona State 41 UNLV 10
UNLV just lost to FCS Eastern Washington. EWU is actually a really good team, but they’re no Arizona State. Expect the Sun Devils to win this one big.
(22) Miami 31 Appalachian State 21
Appalachian State is a trendy upset pick here. But if the Canes play at their capability, they win by double digits.
(21) Utah 27 BYU 16
I would’ve loved to see this game last season with Zach Wilson at QB vs a pesky Utes defense. There are a lot of factors that you can look at in a rivalry game, but I’ll take the team with the better QB.
(20) Ole Miss 56 Austin Peay 17
Ole Miss will roll on offense vs FCS Austin Peay. Expect Austin Peay to show some flashes. They have a talented offense and QB.
(19) Virginia Tech 35 MTSU 17
VT is known for big let down losses after big wins: Old Dominion in 2018, ECU in 2014 just to name a few. Middle Tennessee is no pushover, but they do have three Freshman on the O-Line who the Hokies should dominate. Give me VT with MTSU covering the 21-point spread.
(18) Wisconsin 41 EMU 10
The Badgers missed so many opportunities in the Red Zone vs Penn State. They’ll get that figured out this week and roll vs Eastern Michigan.
(17) Coastal Carolina 38 Kansas 17
Coastal has defeated Kansas two straight seasons. Make it three!
(15) Texas 31 Arkansas 28
The Razorbacks keep this one closer than the experts think.
(14) USC 31 Stanford 17
Stanford has been extremely disappointing lately, and most people are all over USC -17. The Cardinals keep this one closer than that and cover the spread.
(13) Florida 45 USF 10
USF looked horrible vs NC State, and the Bulls are in for another rude awakening vs the Gators. I’m interested to see how the Gators QB situation plays out because Anthony Richardson looks legit.
(11) Penn State 38 Ball State 17
All offseason I thought Ball State might have an opportunity to keep this game close. After Week 1 with Penn State beating Wisconsin and Ball State struggling with WIU, I no longer believe it will be close. Give me PSU by three TDs.
(9) Iowa State 24 (10) Iowa 17
This is the year, the year Matt Campbell and the Cyclones finally beat Iowa.
(8) Notre Dame 38 Toledo 13
Toledo isn’t a bad team, but the Irish have too much firepower and a defense that should thrive.
(7) Cincinnati 45 Murray State 9
QB Desmond Ridder and the Bearcats will roll vs Murray State.
(6) Clemson 56 South Carolina State 0
Clemson needs to get DJ Uiagalelei going and regain his confidence. Expect the Tigers to click on all cylinders and roll.
(5) Texas A&M 35 Colorado 20
Haynes King still has some things to workout and he needs to limit the INTs. The Aggies have too much talent to lose this one, but the Buffs can keep it close.
(4) Oklahoma 63 WCU 7
The Sooners were extremely disappointing vs Tulane. I expected much more from the rushing attack and defense. This week they should figure everything out and roll vs Western Carolina.
(3) Ohio State 34 (12) Oregon 21
The Buckeyes have too much firepower for the Ducks, but I like Oregon +14.5 ATS. If Duck DE Kayvon Thibodeaux is out this game, it could be worse for Oregon than I have predicted.
(2) Georgia 31 UAB 10
• JT Daniels will likely miss this game, and UAB is better than most people expect. The Dawgs pound the rushing attack and win, but UAB covers.

Alabama could score 70+ in this game if they wanted.
