AAC Championship

(17) Memphis 35 (20) Cincinnati 24

These two teams just played last week resulting in a 34-24 win for Memphis. The result is similar this weekend with the Tigers winning the AAC.

(3) Clemson 38 (23) Virginia 14

UVA has been impressive all season. But they’ll need to rely on Bryce Perkins to be sensational this weekend if they want to knock off Clemson. UVA has a good front seven on defense. However, Trevor Lawrence, Travis Etienne, and this elite receiving corps led by Tee Higgins & Justyn Ross will be too much for the Hoos.

Big 12 Championship

(6) Oklahoma 35 (7) Baylor 24

These two just played three weeks ago resulting in a 34-31 comeback win for the Sooners. Oklahoma did that on the road in a hostile environment without WR Ceedee Lamb. Baylor will keep this game close, but the Sooners pull away with a win.

Big Ten Championship

(1) Ohio State 34 (8) Wisconsin 20

These two teams met on October 26th resulting in a 38-7 win for Ohio State. The game will be much closer this time around. Expect the Badgers to cover the 16.5 point spread.

C-USA Championship

FAU 28 UAB 17

Both of these teams finished 9-3 in the regular season. The Owls’ losses came to Ohio State, UCF & Marshall, three really good teams. UAB is 5th in the Nation in yards allowed per game. So they could slow down the FAU offense. Overall, QB Chris Robison and the Owls offense will be too much for the Blazers.

MAC Championship

Central Michigan 31 Miami OH 21

This game isn’t being talked about a lot, but it has a chance to be a great game. CMU is third in the MAC in Total Offense, while Miami (OH) is near the bottom. CMU is second in the MAC in total defense while Miami (OH). So we have two good defensive teams but the biggest question is can Miami (OH) score with CMU? The Redhawks will keep it close, but ultimately lose by 10.

Mountain West Championship

(19) Boise State 42 Hawaii 24

Boise State defeated Hawaii 59-37 on October 12th. Hawaii QB Cole McDonald is streaky. If he’s in a rhythm and plays without turnovers, you can’t count the Rainbow Warriors out. However, the Broncos are more talented and a more compete team.

Pac 12 Championship

(5) Utah 24 (13) Oregon 17

This game should be great. Two really good defensive teams and teams with Senior QBs battling it out. Utah has a chance to advance to the College Football Playoffs if they win, and I expect them to get the job done.

(2) LSU 24 (4) Georgia 17

The #1 Defense in the SEC (Georgia) going up against the #1 Offense in the SEC (LSU). If it’s a big time upset in College Football this weekend I think it would happen here. Georgia is no pushover. However, Joe Burrow and the Tigers offense will get the job done late in the 4th quarter.

Sun Belt Championship

(21) Appalachian St 27 Louisiana 24

These two teams faced each other earlier in the year and Appalachian State won 17-7. Louisiana has the top offense in the Sun Belt and Appalachian State has the best Defense. There will be more points scored in this one, but expect the Mountaineers to come out ahead again.
